Spot qualified yesterday at West Wilts for the Blue Chip Performance (foxhunter). He was the fastest 4 faults in the Jump off and came 7th. It was a shame he didn't jump DC as he then would have qualified for the regionals as well. Cath was 4th to go in the Jump off out of 13 so turned a bit tight into a fence and just had it down.
 
Yep, got back friday morning - took my lorry back to VOSA 30 seconds and £30 later it passed its plate so now all legal again - hurrah.

they would never swap him, he is now more precious than Prince Floyd.
 
Wow ! That's an impressive result....and a real shame to miss your 4th DC...still, plenty of time left to get that one though

He's jumping round Fox's and the jump off really confidently, even getting placed when the class isn't split and he's got 6-8 months to get to 1.35 so hopefully he'll be ready to have a go.
 
I love the fact that your sisters cheap hack has usurped Floyd. Lucky Cath getting the ride on him and not having to do any of the work on him. How much do you reckon he is worth now?
 
He is probably worth a lot more than Sarah paid for him... who knows. He is an absolute freak of a horse though. If you saw him stood in a stable or rode him on the flat you wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

Floyd is definately second best now as I'm allowed to take him eventing next year if I want to. I just have to convince her that he needs a new owner full time.
 
How cool having Floyd to event - what would you start at Novice? I think we should all go en-mass to France for CIC1* how much fun would that be! Either Martinvast or Pompadour! I am willing to waste a tonne of money on a unique one off experience!
 
I was thinking more OPN, and I think the offer was for the odd event rather than campaining a whole season - you forget I haven't done that much XC. I haven't got a tonne of money, Supposed to be completing today OMG!!!
