I need help! Looking for a new bridle for my maxi cob. I need it to be a fairly chunky style as he has a head like a boulder but I'm struggling. I want to spend around £80 ish to get a decent quality that is possible to use as a daily bridle and not to keep for best? He's an extra full most of the time or full if generous. Any ideas? Love the collegiate cavesson bridle but only goes to full and it's on the small side. Don't need flash and preferably something more hunter style :) any help would be massively appreciated!!! X

I 'think' I paid about £80 for a snaffle bridle from Fylde, their bridles are fab and they do some HUGE wide nosebands :) You may have to pay a bit more for the chunky noseband but they are very helpful. I would check prices on their website and maybe give them a call if they are within your budget.

Have you looked at rideaway, either catalogue or on the net. They do a jeffries bridle and you can buy all the parts seperatley and the sizes of each part are listed. Their maximum noseband width is one and a quarter inch. Any help?
