As post says, I want a simple high-quality brown English leather bridle, that has a plain (or fancy stitched) canvasson noseband that ISN'T padded or a hunter type. Where are they?????? Grrrrr... been looking online ALL day

Can't drive so need to buy online. Plenty of cheapies out there but rest are either stupidly expensive or flash/padded/hunter style. I'm going cross eyed here.

Should have added, not raised too.

That's certainly a nice looking bridle but I'm looking for a 'flat leather' bridle. That price is okay, though. It's for a yearling so just don't want to spend £100+ on something that I'll be selling on eBay next year.

Ideally, I'd like a nice worn-in second hand one but can't find anything on eBay at the mo. Typical.

Sabre are probably your best bet, the Derby House catalogue usually has a page full of bridle parts, and plain nosebands!

Theres a cavasson bridle by kincade, they're cheap. The leather is cheap, but my friend bought one nearly..5 years ago and hers is in great condition just needs to be oiled from time to time, she loves hers and it still looks like new! although they are cheap they are fantastic. I might buy one if i ever need a new bridle. Cheap doesn't always mean crap

Sabre or Jefferies.

They're the only ones that do the nice plain flat leather bridles these days, or seem to be the only ones.

Glad I'm not the only one that doesn't like the raised/stitched etc bridlework

Try calling Morris & Nolan - they will make a bridle up for you so you can choose to mix and match sizes if you like. Won't be in the £30 bracket, but not the £100+ bracket either (unless you add two sets of reins)

Risley Saddlery sell Morris and Nolan, thats nice stuff, I have several sets of reins.

Fylde may have what you want too. They do over the phone sales.

Thanks to everyone who's given links/ideas. I'm going to contact a few places tomorrow and see how I get on.

Thanks again
