Quarter Marks Help

I know I have read a post on here somewhere about getting quarter markers made but not sure where, went to a show Sunday and saw a horse with small daisy like flowers on its bum it looked great I'd like something a bit different to the norm can anyone suggest what would be suitable for a chestnut arab and of course arab classes in general and where i can get them made thanks

Try www.stencilbum.co.uk/ they do custom clipping stencils and I'm sure they do different designs for brushing into the coat.

I'm rubish at these as well, always looks crap along side those who have mastered the art, so, I went and bought some cheep plastic folders from the pound shop and cut my own design into it, works a treat and a fraction of the price!

for showing arabs dont have quater marks.

If you are going to do quater marks for the showring then you need to do them by hand, and no a daisy is not a suitable one.
However if you are showjumping or doing dressage then you can do as you please.

Hope you had a good day of it, I only got to see about 10 minutes of competition

Have just ordered a huge new roll of magnetic media for the brushing ones, so yes I can do them. I do need an idea of the shape required to start with though as everyone's idea of a daisy shape (or any other shape really is different)

We spent the rest of the day on the XC course..... no one made any wonga out of me except the ice cream robber...... I mean van

Think I may have to order a nice curly Merlins Quest stencil to brush on my clipper phobic neddy...... any ideas???

Well, I have just had a very heavy roll of the media delivered so I can look to cutting a few now (but pulled my back lifting it

)

I'll be happy to look at a design as I'm fairly quiet at this time of year, but I need some sort of guideline to start from or else I could easily end up spending about a week on it and still not find anything which really grabs you.

I think that using a party (hair) paint is the best way to go for impact on the brushing designs. The thistle design on one of the horses there (not mine) stood out so much better there for it.

Will have a think for designs but the party hair stuff might not work as he is black

Pics would be good if you have them

There is nothing to stop you experimenting with the other colours in the range. I have tins of white, black, red, green, yellow, blue, orange purple & silver which I got to experiment with.

They just brush out easily so it works well
