I like a nice quarter sheet - especially in high viz as I do a lot of road hacking.

My current one really doesn't work on the Microcob's WOW saddle. The fastenings just aren't secure and it slips back. We had an excellent saddle fitting on Tuesday and she's staying in the WOW so I could really do with a quarter sheet designed for a close contact saddle. What have people used?

The WOW saddler did a cracking job with her. I had warned her she was coming to see a 13h pony who is as wide as she is tall, has a ridiculously forward girth groove, sprung rib cage, not much wither, croup high and has a number of skeletal issues which all result in the saddle shifting down her neck. Was blown away with how much improvement we got with some adjustments and that's despite needing some extra short panels which are going to be ordered for her. On the roads yesterday I could hear her footfall sounded better and for once I didn't spent all my time trying to shift the saddle back to the left again.

I use the cut away ones that velcro closed over the pommel.

I don't have this particular one but it could be what you are looking for.

I don't want a wraparound :)

A quarter sheet that attached securely to the saddle is what I'm after

What do you currently have? I have no idea how WOW saddles differ from standard but I have a V-Bandz one which fastens to the girth and girth straps of my standard saddle, and it doesn't shift at all.

I use a Thermatex 1/4 sheet with my close contact dressage saddle, and just put the Velcro straps (that are intended to go round the girth straps) through the stirrup leather keeper in the flap intended for the extra stirrup length (if you see what i mean). I'm sure that's how you could fix a fluorescent 1/4 sheet......

I have a wow saddle on one of mine. It’s been a game changer for me.

My saddle has v useful extra d rings on the flaps. It was second hand to me but they were a custom fit apparently

Do you tuck it right up between the the panel and the flap? I've never had one come loose.

I used a thermatex on my mono and the wow I had. Popped the straps on the underside of stirrup leathers

I use both v bandz and a thermatex attached to stirrups/ girth but my wow saddler did confirm they can easily and relatively cheaply add d rings to the wowflaps to help. You do need to be a bit careful that the quarter sheet doesn’t pull the stirrup leathers off 😊 so im hoping to get this sorted this autumn/winter. V bandz hi viz quarter sheet is excellent

Sorry - monoflap is what I meant

Currently attaching to girth and stirrup leathers but finding it's pulling back. I also don't like it on the stirrup leathers. Can't remember the brand of my high viz one (equisafety??) But it has one X velcro strap and one x clip strap both of which attach to girth straps on the normal GP. On the WOW the position of the girth straps just isn't keeping the quarter sheet forward enough.

I'll have a look at V bandz - never heard of that.

I use a Thermatex 1/4 sheet with my close contact dressage saddle, and just put the Velcro straps (that are intended to go round the girth straps) through the stirrup leather keeper in the flap intended for the extra stirrup length (if you see what i mean). Ummm you've lost me! Can't work out what you mean by that.

Might get the thermatex out tomorrow - maybe it's the design of my high viz that's the problem rather than quarter sheet in general

I tuck the velcro 1/4 sheet fastening through the stirrup keeper. The fastening is a bit long so could be adjusted to be shortened - I've drawn on to this saddle picture and hope it makes more sense?

Ahhh - don't have a stirrup keeper on a WOW so that's why I didn't get what you were saying!

Useful photo. So I've got one strap on the girth and one around the leathers and it's just not secure which is annoying me. Maybe I need to design my own 😜

You can lift up the wow flap and tuck the quarter sheet strap between panel and flap. Once girthed up and mounted it’s pretty secure

Or you can lift the flap and attach to the top of the girth strap in the small space before it tucks into the flap. It’s fiddly sometimes and whether it works depends the the position of the strap on your quarter sheet

I had d rings added to the underside of all mine when they were made, I’m sure they can be added retrospectively by wow or by a local saddler

This is what I do too, but see that OP doesn’t have keepers or a slot.
shame as the fluorescent orange thermatex is lovely. The amigo quarter sheet fits in a similar way.
