Queen: A passion for horses

This has gotta be the ONLY thing worth watching over the BH weekend. There's been a total lack of anything decent, only the boring-as-b@ggery repeats, and the endless stuff like Real Rescues, Bargain Hunt, Antiques & Cooking programmes. Jeez, how boring!

Am settling in with a nice tall glass of somminck, and enjoy. And putting the telephone onto automatic answerphone mode!!:)

I'm so confused. I've been watching it for the last hour. Is this a Scotland thing? Or have I been watching something else? Or am I drunk or dreaming...? *lies down*

FANTASTIC!!

Bless 'er, the old gal's really switched on :)

You had the feeling she really cares about her horses; and its not just a thoroughbred thing either, she's got some smashing natives.

Nice to see the Monty Roberts input too, and interesting that she was a pioneer in (dare I say it) "natural horsemanship" (ehm, Thank God she's not into Parelli or we'd never hear the last of it on here!!!).

Thought Clare Balding was just right too; respectful, kept her distance, and didn't overshadow the programme with her obvious family connections and knowledge of racing. Well done Clare. You did good, maid.
