Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has ever gone through an insurance claim from someone else's insurance from causing injury to your horse. My horse was injured in the spring as a result of straying live stock and ended up in hospital. This was witnessed and the farmer send my vet bills to his farm insurance. I ended up speaking to a loss adjustor who was dealing with the case who said he was given authority to proceed with my claim, I signed a declaration from to say that I accept the amount and would not claim anymore (a large sum covering all vet bills and associate costs) and also sent over my bank details.
They have now gone quiet and I have no idea if that means that I will be getting the payment. Has anyone ever had to do anything like this as its a first for me and I have no idea what's going on. Thank you in advance.
