rugs do you have for 1 horse?

Am debating whether to buy a M/W (250g) turnout for Blue.... in the sale...

I am trying to decide if i actually need it...

He currently has:

Rainsheet (no fill)
Fleece
Lightweight Stable Rug (100g)
Lightweight Stable Rug with hood (115g)
Mediumweight Stable Rug (250g)
Quilt
Heavyweight Turnout Rug (350g)

Don't know whether to get a Mediumweight Turnout or not??

Don't seem to have much flexibility with the Turnouts at the moment, mainly because he trashes them pretty quickly.

You probably don't need it, but you want it! Go on get it, I've just bought a MW turnout, I didn't need it but have a weird obsession with horse rugs

Shettie has her own thick wooly waterproof coatt.

Will have to be looking at getting rugs for Haflinger as she will be being ridden over the winter so can't grow that huge coat again....
 
Oh my god!! I cannot believe how many rugs you lot have got!! I thought I had a lot in:

1 x LW Turnout no neck
2 x HW Turnout - one high neck, one no neck
1 HW stable rug - no neck
1 MW stable rug - no neck
1 LW stable rug with neck
3 x fleeces
1 x Thermatex
1 x Duvet
 
of course he needs it!

I darn't list how many rugs I have, the problem is that they technically belong to the gelding, which means that my mare has to have her own ( or as my OH maintains she shares!)

as for the section a he has 1.... for a field kept native i thought he was doing very well! my excuse is for when I eventually recapture him he will need it while visiting the yard

Rambo duo with various liners..... so it can be 100-500g as needed
Shires MW with neck (not used for 18m)
Amigo no fill...
4 fleeces (3 never used, 1 very used)
1 Olympian summer sheet (never used)
Fly sheet
2 Stable rugs (hes never stabled)!!

I keep the never used rugs for just in case..... but in reality he only wears the Rambo Duo....
