question about hiring out sand school

I pay £12.50 per hour at a local equestrian centre (West Berkshire) for similar.

NIKICB - thanks for your quick reply. i was thinking of around the £10 mark especially since there are no others in this area.

Depends on where it is, whether it's floodlit or not, how many days/hours a week, whether it is personal or business hire (business whether hourly/per horse) etc.

I'd google local areas for a high and low price. I'd then tot up insurance, maintenance (and running if floodlit) and come out with a price that would at minimal cover the above (dependant on how many hours it's available for hire).

our yard charges £20 per hour for a 30x60 indoor school with jumps, so i'd say for your outdoor maybe 12 or 15 per hour for 1 horse, then maybe £5 per extra horse

I pay £7 per half an hour for the local riding school's indoor or outdoor arenas, both including lights but it goes up to £11 per half hour if I want to use the jumps.

I pay £6 per horse per hour for 40x60 rubber arena, is well maintained and has plenty of jumps and fillers.
