Evening

I may be over reacting ( as usual) but should mares still have seasons this time of year. I only ask as my lil girl has become really squirty - more so than normal these past few days. I saw her squirt twice within a few paces today which as far a I know this is very unusual. Her normal season do make her quite flirty and slightly grumpy but nothing too serious but at the moment she seems very quiet which is quite unlike her.
So more thsn normal squirting and quiet moods . . . . . . should I be worried?:confused::confused::confused:

All the yard are in season at the moment - they have come in for winter (or a step towards) so big change in routine and lots of girls together with the boys = a lot of flirty girlies!

Thanks :)

She is still in with the 2 boys she is always with but we did change their routine twice in the last week or so - this could of caused it then maybe.. Just worries me that she is SO squirty and not interested in the boys at all.

My mare has a more noticable season when she has the last one of the year. I have always assumed this is a oh no i really need to get in foal last chance of the year reaction

My mare still comes into season on a regular basis throughout winter! It can be snowing and she will still be like clockwork. She is a super tart though & i know that if i ever decide to put her in foal there will be no problems covering her!
