Question about Naf Pink Powder

Hi all,

Does anyone use pink powder and what do you think of it? Was recommended to use it to help with condition/topline on my new horse - any thoughts?

Used it on my yearling when she was looking a bit poor around xmas time - more as a pro-biotic type thing than as a balancer.

4 yr old is currently getting it as she's just come into work and is both slightly unsettled by the change and could do with some extra condition.

I use it, mainly to keep my stressy mare's stomach settled which it has done brilliantly. But I have also noticed she has a lovely shine to her coat and has kept her weight and condition throughout the winter which was always a struggle.
I would recommend it to anyone.
 
fantastic stuff!! I tend to use it while they are moulting and to get them ready for the season ahead!
 
I use it.. Ted has a lot of steriods and anti-biotics over the year and the PP restors his gut bacteria.. Stops the diahorea, and generally makes him feel better..

His coat is beautiful, hes happy, full of life and is holding his weight better than ever!

I use it for a laminitic, very good doer and a stressy 3 1/2yo!

Works wonders with all of mine i swopped from topspec comprehensive to pink powder as it was getting expensive with 3 on topspec and tbh i have noticed that their feet and coats are much better than when on the topspec.

The youngster has put on loads of wieght (rare occurance!) whilst being on reduced hard feed too!
 
I put C on Pink Powder as more of a pick me up and its certainly done that!!. She's gone from being quite withdrawn in herself to a youngster again.

I recently started to use it for my TB, and I think it is proving worthwhile. He's been on it for a few months now and he has put weight back on that he lost and is maintaining good condition. His feed has been reduced slightly (well the alfalfa content as he was always leaving some) and now he eats all his dinner and seems to be doing very well.

The main reason that I put him on it is he is quite stressy so I was hoping that it would help him get the best out of his food and keep the weight and condition on. He is definitely looking the best that I've seen him in the 1.5 years that I've owned him.
 
I tried my boy on a months supply, I have to say I noticed little difference condition wise, he did do less poo's but I expected some improvement to coat and weight, no idea why I didnt get the amazing results others have
 
I used it for the first month to help Drifter settle in and it made a very big difference to his behaviour in and out of the stable less frantic. That was last August. I have now gone back on a maintenance dose ( I didnt know you could until I rang the lovely ladies at NAF they are very helpful) and it has removed all of his over reaction to situations when he spooks its ' phaw I dont like the look of that' rather than 'Holey Moley get me out of here'.

His whole mood has changed and he doesnt overreact when he is fed either and he used to bounce off the stable walls.
He also keeps condition on with less feed and looks like he is polished.
 
is it at all heating? my boy needs more condition, he is already on conditioning feeds but he only has very small amounts and i really do want to get him looking better. and i dont want to give him anything heating

The whole thing about Pink Powder is that it aids the digestive system enabling the horse to process its food correctly so stops the build up of acid in the gut which is often what can cause 'silliness'. I really would advise contacting NAF they are really helpful and if they feel a product is unsuitable will be the first to say dont try it.
