Question about numnahs for showing

For showing classes with a WH saddle, does the sheepskin showing numnah need to be the same color as the saddle or the horse? saddle is black and horse is grey, what is correct?

i have a grey and use a brown sheepskin numnah to match her brown saddle. It lines the saddle so looks like she isn't wearing a numnah at all. I use a white girth with it.

Never thought about using a white girth - she is white in this area too (shes a skewbald with lots of white around her saddle area - hence why i called her a grey )

A fitted numnah the same colour as the saddle isbest.

I prefer not to have a numnah at all, I'm very old fashioned in regards to what I put on my horse for shows. A white girth is not correct for WH - girth should be leather to match saddle.
