Question about tying up to a high line

I fairly frequently go out on all-day or multiple-day rides with a group. At midday, we tie a high line between trees and use head collars and lead ropes to tie the horses to the high line during the break, as shown in the photo below.

I wonder if there is a model of head collar with a ring on the crown piece, so the lead rope is not hanging down below the horse's mouth. Or is it for some reason a bad idea to have a ring at that position?

When I’ve done riding holidays with mid way stops, they’ve done that, just tied as normal to a higher line. Horses seem to know what to do.
