question for breeders please

How soon would you expect a maiden bitch to start showing she is pregnant? I mean belly change and nipple development?

our border terrier had her first litter two weeks ago (3 boys looking for good homes!) she didn't really show any obvious signs of being pregnant till a week or two before the birth - obviously we still couldn't be sure it wasn't a phantom pregnancy, but just a few days wait proved it was the real thing.

i am trying to work out how to add a picture...can't for the life of me see how!

Thanks for replying Ponyqueen. ours is not 6 weeks yet and showing obvious development of her tummy/mammaries... I am getting worried?

About half way through pregnancy, mine started showing signs.

I worked out that Bunny was pregnant - despite the morning after jab - when she was six weeks. I think if I had been looking for it I would have noticed earlier.

about half way through the pregnancy - 4/5 weeks. They often go off their food too at this time.
