Question for liveries

Could put up with a bit of that. Could not put up with leaving the yard open and unprotected. Not meaning to give you more to get upset about, but I wondered if your liveries actions could have meant your insurance was invalid if - god forbid - something had happened. i.e - with my tack insurance - for it to be covered, it needs to be in a brickbuilt room with a 5 bar lever AND locked!

so, more for your benefit and so you know you are really tried every option, I would have one more conversation but it does sound like you have made up your mind now..

At the end of the day you need to have someone 110% reliable liverying with you.

She's not - and clearly, and understandably after last night, this is a problem.

I'd personally give her notice.

Out of interest, are the horses kept at home, or a yard that you rent??

Neither :D tho wish I had SE money to have room at home :(
Its my own yard, about 10 mins drive from home.
Long term marching orders given, as I didn't want to be too mean but gave them til end Feb to find somewhere else (I hope thats fair).
In the mean time, I'll be doing mine 24/7 (no hard cheese) & feeding hers every morning which won't be a trial as she keeps much later morning hours than me. Only stipulation is that she has to be finished in the evening to leave when I do or before.
