Hi again
I have three horses, a 20yr old Tb, a 5yr old middleweight, and a homebred 4yr old Tb x Bavarian(as yet unbroken).
Realistically, I will struggle to cope with the riding when they are all in work.
How likely do you think it is that I would find someone who wanted to either share all three, or take on one as their own, in return for help looking after them (no charges)?
Your thoughts?

I would think they'd be snapped up! Especially in the economy we're in where pursestrings are being tightened.

Sounds like quite a generous offer too!

I've done this in the past and it worked out really well. Advertise locally, tack shops, etc. and also try Uni riding clubs if there is a Uni or college near you and you should have no problem finding the right person.

Sounds great, I'm longing for something to ride for free! I would chip in if only I weren't so skint....

I help look after 4 horses, 2 of which are in work, they are all cracking horses and I love them to bits!! Their owners are lovely too

So yes I think you'd have no problem finding someone

That's encouraging, thank you all.

I thought people may be suspicious...but my 4yr old in particular has always wanted a pet human...someone fun to pay her lots of attention.
I'm planning on getting her broken over the winter, and will then try to find someone for her (or them).
