Question for those on DIY

What! No way would I put up with that. DIY is do it yourself and the yards round my yard is just that. No issues and no real rules. Diy when you like. I hate yard rules where people try to rule you

Yes, but generally rules are set for a reason, usually not because the YO is some control freak. Taking a step back and seeing things from a YOs perspective often clarifies things, trying to please everyone, all the time, is a lot easier said than done

On my yard there are rules about turnout, for safety issues, of horse and handler, not because I am some power crazy mini Hitler.

The yard where Chesteris at have t/o and b/i times in the winter. They are turned out at 6.45-7 and in by 3, but since beg april they are on optional 24/7 t/o. Chester currently gets b/i at 7am and t/o at about 5-5.30 and thats only because hes getting a little fat.
Where lady is (and chester will be) there are no times as such. In the winter its usually t/o at about 7ish at the earliest and they are usually in by 5ish but at the moment 95% of the liveries are out all the time. The yo only daus to bring them in if the weather is hot so the horses can have a rest from the sun.
