Question for toddler parents who event?

Hi,
I am the parent of an 20 month toddler. Most weekends my partner & I spend competing at ODE's. We are looking for a buggy that will withstand the rigours of walking x-country courses etc. From abit of research we think we need a jogging 3 wheeler with 16inch wheels(Have a 3 wheeler but with smaller wheels and its getting wrecked!). Anyone know of any stockists in Ireland or web based companies that will ship to Ireland? Thanks

I wonder if Mothercare(maybe online) would have anything like you need? We got a fairly hefty buggy from there and never had any probs going out and about...it's still going strong after 3 years

You need a mountain buggy. Shall see if i can find a web link. Lots to be had cheeply on ebay although they cost a fortune new.

I had the twin one which had two front wheels but close together, very very good bit of kit. The terrain one is the one you want/need.

Then fill the tyres with that no puncture gel stuff you can get. (Although i don't think the manufacturers recommend it

another vote for the Mountain Buggy - we have one and we go all over with it, walking courses etc. Just make sure you get the Terrain version with the fixed wheel and not the Urban which is just a lookalike for town use. We got ours on ebay, there's a thriving trade in them on there so they're not cheap cheap but much more affordable than new.
