My horse has been having 'colic like' symptoms as you might know, she has had the vet 4 times in 4 weeks and has various blood tests, scans and stomach taps all of which show there is noting wrong. She is being scoped on Thursday with a view to checking for gastric ulcers. This is going to cost a fair amount of money and I will be claiming for it on insurance.
I have printed a claim form off the internet. My question is should I ring the insurance company and inform them? I am wondering whether to leave it until after she is scoped as at the moment I am unsure as to whether it will be colic I am claiming for or ulcers- what should I do?
