Questionnaire for dissertation at uni, please fill in :)

I've filled it in but some of my answers may not make sense. I check my horse's back and the saddle fit myself every time I ride, and call in the pros if there is an issue I can't sort myself. Also my current saddle is treeless so doesn't need fitting by a fitter in the same way as an English saddle does - the fitting and and padding needs checking regularly but you can generally do that yourself.

Also found some of the Qs a bit hard to answer...
I don't get my horses back checked specifically - I check that all seems normal & monitor it daily, if I feel something is wrong or he's due an 'MOT' then I will get in who I think is right for the job. He has seen the chiro before, last he had physio though there were no issues. Same with feet in a way, it's usually around 8 weeks for Dan as he slots in with others on the yard, but often I just get them done when they need doing. I don't know what width his saddle is as he's now in a softtree, last time he was in a treed he was a wide though. We've had the soft-tree for a year, previously I always had treed saddles which were fitted by a saddlefitter. Now I monitor the fit of my saddle myself, and occasionally ask the opinion of the person who designed the saddle or my instructor may make a comment (who has training in fitting these saddles) but I do not 'have it fitted'. I generally check that there's no signs of it not fitting whenever I ride (check marks/hair, make sure it isn't moving too much, see how horse feels to ride). Saddle fit is very important to me, as is my horse's health, but I feel fairly confident in checking things myself & speaking to those who I know can help when necessary, rather than relying on 'routine' which might mean things are missed when they should be checked sooner or such.

You're missing some apostrophes - some of the questions don't technically make sense. I'd also echo above comments about checking saddle every time I ride and checking backs once a week, but using my own knowledge, unless I have good reason to seek professional help.

I didn't answer the question about riding level. I've only ever done prelim and have jumped up to 3ft at home, as neither of these interset me. But I'm an Advanced endurance rider. I didn't really fit any of the categories :(
And as others have said I check the fit when I ride and would get someone in if I thought there was an issue

couldnt answer properly
