Below is the link to my questionnaire for my undergraduate final honours project. It relates to turn out practices. Please only fill it in if you live in the UK, are over 18 and have a horse/horses or are the primary carer/decision maker for the management of a horse.
All responses would be greatly appreciated and all information is annonymous and confidential! Thank you

Done! Got slightly confused on some options though as Molly is often turned out 24/7 and wasn't sure if should tick 12+ or overnight as is both.....went for 12+!

We have no turnout restrictions - can keep out 24/7 365 if we wish but also have stables.

Done :) Mine was slightly awkward as she's still in a field with 2 others, but on the other side of an electric fence as she's being introduced still after a yard move, but I did state that somewhere and tried to answer as best I could :)

It says leave out certain questions if your horse is never stabled, then won't let you go on to the next section without answering them. I gave up.

You are all brilliant, thanks so much for helping out, keep it up!

Sorry if there was some confusion about some questions, I appreciate the question relating to hours of turn out is a bit confusing, sorry about that.

I do state to tick "not applicable" or similar to prevent the system telling you that "some fields have been left blank" etc. Some questions are also set to allow you to leave it blank and still be able to progress. Hope that helps.

Thanks again, you have no idea how great it is to have so many horse owners be willing to spare some of their time!! Im overwhelmed with the fantastic response, please keep it up!

Jess

Thank you guys.

I am so passionate about the topic, I think its crazy that there is no information on what current practices are in the industry relating to turn out and I am so excited to collect this information.

Thanks again for participating, I really appreciate it.
