A potential yard where you're thinking of sending your horse to be backed? What should you look for and is there anything to be wary of? Thanks

I always find with this sort of thing word of mouth is essential. Someone you know that has the same values when it comes to horses and obv experienced in the discipline that you want.

References are always the first thing I ask for.
Go see the yard and see how the horses are - stressed, calm etc.. Also ask if you can see her ride or even longrein one of the horses they have in for breaking.
