I have just heard word that my horse is lame following slipping in the field. Not sure how bad yet as I'm still on my way there. Bit out of practice with regards to first aid. I am guessing he has pulled something. If it looks like tendon area, should I bandage both his back legs for the night?

Glad to hear he doesn't look lame :), double check in the morning that he isn't. I wouldn't have bandaged anyway, someone did at my yard when hers did a tendon and vet told her she could have damaged the tendon further.

Thanks for the replies, I did wonder :) having had a hardy cob for twenty years, I have rarely had such worries. The Anglo is a different deal :D i will bare the advice in mind for the future. just out if interest, when do u bandage a horse then?
