Hi everyone,
I always use just front brushing boots and front over-reach boots when out hacking on my mare but last weekend, I rode my friend's horse behind her and noticed her back feet hit each other all the time and the bottoms of her back legs do as well. I always assumed the clicking noise I heard when out riding was her over-reaching hitting her front feet but it's actually her back feet hitting each other. Does anyone have any advice which boots I should be using? I thought maybe over-reach boots on the back but someone at the yard told me they were only for front feet and to use fetlock boots but this doesn't protect her hooves? Any advice?! Thanks!
