Well did our first "proper" dressage today, just did the one Prelim cos my memory is crap!! Warmed up beautifully, very pleased as was relaxed and chilled and just working nicely in general! Did our test, a bit tense, and a bit spooky, but generally did what i wanted where I wanted him to (other than stand at the end!!) and got 63.33% and qualified for second round Trailblazers! Very pleased, and got an 8 for our entry!!

Well done..........great result!

Was the weather OK? I only ask 'cos I went to a comp to help a client and we had the most awful thunderstorm with lightening and torrential rain for about 15 mins. The judge actually stopped the class and let those outside stand indoors until it passed!
Unfortunately my pupil was first to go after the stop and so having got all warmed up and focused, she then had to go straight in from a standing start, if you see what I mean!

Anyway, well done again, can't wait to see the photos.

Pupil actually did a really good job considering the build up and the fact that she still had a couple of horses in the arena sheltering! She was second with 66.?%, having won the first class with a staggering 73%! However that judge does mark a little on the generous side although she does tend to get them in the right order!

Seeing you all out there makes me want to get on Spider, sighs, just another 2 1/2 years to go!!!!!

They are all very well thank you, it's me that isn't, been poorly, but hopefully next couple of week will be back in the saddle and getting then fit, hoping to do some Trailblazer Dr and Sj with Spur and Millie, other two are having a little time off.....
