Joined your forum this morning and left a message of introduction in another section...I was quickly directed here....So Hello, I'm Richard. Live near the Haras du Pin in Normandy. I own 2 horses, have been restoring our tiny little farm now for 10 years, and hope to get back to a little more serious riding when I get this thing finished....

Always looking for friendly riders to join our Sunday Rides(lots of wine afterwards...)

Hi Richard!
Welcome to the forum.....

Thank you! Quick replies to quick hello! I am trying to do some woodwork in the livingroom; have the labtop balenced on the end table, eat a sandwhich, and keep the glue on my fingers from the computer keyboard and the sandwhich...and read your forum...

English Friends just called and said to warn everyone that I was an American(They said the "understanding members" would forgive me....)

Over 20yrs in Europe though(does this help my case?)

Hi and welcome and I do like the idea of the Sunday rides. I have in the past been known to finish the Christmas pub crawl ride hanging on (western saddle really helps) while my lovely horse took me home and waited patiently for me to slither to the floor in the stable.

Hope you enjoy the forum - it is very addictive.

Richard................love...............they dont care a hoot that you are American, they are more interested in which side you bat for and what sort of wine you have

Ya, ok. I guess I am not gay(don't really like the "straight" label either...)

"Straight" implies Bill Martin. He turned in half of our boy scout troop because we smuggled a little beer on a camp out, squealed on me constantly in high school if I came to swimming practice a little "high" , campaigned heavily for G. Bush, and then turned into a captain in the California Hiway Patrol....

This is what I consider "straight."

Hi Richard - nice to hear from you - sounds like you have a pretty nice life over there in France! Maybe next time I am over there....

And no, I don't really care if you are single/married/gay/straight/an alien from outer space OR American
