Just a brief report... I went to my hunt's opening meet with Castle today, I brought him instead of Ali as I went to the meet with a friend as my "chauffeur" is away at the moment... Lots of people were glad to see Castle again, even though I looked absolutely hideous on him

Not too many people were out, it was quite a slow day, a lot of standing around, but that meant I could have a good chat with some people I haven't seen since March. We didn't jump much... there was only the odd ditch and a few wire fences... It was obvious that Castle was happy to be back out on the hunting field though, he still has a smashing pop in him even after a very easy summer!

The meet ended quite early so I hacked out Ali earlier this evening, and he thought there were monsters lurking in the hedges...muppet...

I'm glad Castle was a good boy, he's such a super star isn't he!

Have you got anymore prospective buyers? Surely there must be someone looking for a seasoned child's hunter now, esp if he's still being seen on the field?

Thanks Rara, no recent photos of me riding him, there are a few of him after he was clipped just over a week ago though in the PG somewhere...
Thanks CC

The people who were genuinely interested in him (second people who enquired about him when I readvertised him) were offered a long term loan of a pony from a friend of theirs, so they took that option instead of buying. Not many people were at the opening meet today, but I have told a few of people and the hunt staff that Castle is for sale and all of the hunt staff said I should have no problems selling him...

I just can't believe he's still with you, it's crazy! He should have gone within a few days. Rhyn went immediately (for loan) and he doesn't have anywhere near the pop in him or consistency Castle has, and he's a hand or so bigger.
