One of my horses has developed noisy breathing and is breathing faster than he should. Respiratory infection was ruled out and he had a course of Ventapulmin and bute to see if it brought his breathing rate down.
Vet is coming to scope him on Monday and I want to claim on my insurance. I know they will ask me when the problem was first noticed, but just wondered if anyone knows how long ago is too long ago for them to agree to pay? I know this will be in the small print of my policy, but don't have it with me (at work) and worried I say the wrong thing!
Thanks to anyone who may be able to give advice
