Quick NS Bit Size Question

If a horse takes a 5" in a normal loose ring snaffle, what size would they require in a neue schule loose ring verbindend connection bit??

Please could one of you lovely people tell me what would be the best size (to the nearest 1/4") to try first.

Call me stupid but I just ordered the same size as my horse normall takes so I'd get a 5" one in your case.

Am now wondering if I missed something.

i bought the trans angle lozenge mouthpiece and found the size perfect when i bought the same size as normal.

go on the neue schule website and 'bit measure' is on the task bar on the left. when the page opens it looks empty bt scroll down!
