Is she in the Pony Club - or have you just got a PC tie?
I would either say a PC or a plain coloured tie. Or if she is riding a horse or wearing long boots rather than gaiters (this is what I always remember being told at PC!) then wear a white/cream stock with a black/blue jacket. Or hacking jacket and a coloured stock.
Actually can you wear hacking jackets for dressage??

Thanks everyone, she is in the pony club, but this event is not run by the pony club but Working Hunter Ass.
She has a tweed jacket, cream jods, black leather gaiters, black gloves, black hat. Is there anything here I should change?

As a general rule I think gloves should match breeches..but wouldn't lose too much sleep over that. All sounds fine

For novice level dressage, the gear she wears for workers will be fine. I would wear dark gloves, unless you are certain you have perfect hands and don't mind the judges seeing them! Good Luck
