quick qu about anesthesia. ..

I would mention it to the nurse when booking in but wouldn't think that would cause a problem at all, a very small amount in what I would imagine is quite a large stomach.:p Good luck with the x rays.

Good luck with the x-ray x

This is probably way too late but ask to take a pic of the x-rays on the lightbox with your phone so that you have them for future reference.

Yeah sometimes it can be hard to tell if they are being careful on the 'good' leg.
Be very picky about the positioning - if the dog is just knocked out and wanged on the table it can make a huge difference to the outcome.

If they look blurry or ill-positioned, ask for new plates or go elsewhere!

What is actually being x-rayed, is it her shoulder/elbows/neck/spine?

No worries. I have pics of elbow x-rays if you want to compare later on...I'm the same - keep a cool head on (keep calm and think of Betty!!) and write anything down you need to ask in case you are a dizzy bint like me and it falls out of your head :o.

All a bit non conclusive: xrays show possible goings on in the right shoulder. MAY have cracked it at some point, very feint possible hairline crack, and a strange area which could be causing pain in the joint. She now gas carprieve twice daily for 10 days then Once for the month. Restricted exercise and if still even slightly lame to go back...

not really sure how I feel just now?!

Have pics, but think I can only put them on to fb at the moment as my new phone isn't playing nicely with my laptop! Are you on fb cc?

betty is now home. Love post sedative betty. Not. Given 1/2 tin of food to try and make her feel a bit Better.

Xx
