I have been sold a half bridle (no noseband) stated to be jefferies, it is brown with white decent quality stiching and plain undied skin colour on the inside so looks like a jefferies but has no makers stamp on the leather work (my jefferies dressage bridle has the makers stamp on the pointed end of the straps). So is the bridle I have bought a real jefferies or not?

Maybe not but sound like good quality ! - maybe pop it down to your locl tack shop on the pretense of shopping for a noseband , and see it matches up!

I have a Jeffies Hunter Bridle, and after close examination, there is a stamp 'Jeffries' on the bottom of the near cheekpiece strap and 'made in England' on the bottom of the throatlash strap. The noseband has a stamp too, although I can't find any stamps on either the cheekpieces or browband, and mine is definitely all genuine.
