Well I seems I have left it a bit late for buying a rain sheet but my girlie has had a medium weight rug on up til now. I want an Amigo rain sheet as they are cheap as chips but it seems 6ft is a popular size and no where has any! The question is do I try to squeeze her into a 5ft 9 (she wear a 6ft rambo with lots a extra room) or do I just bit the bullet and buy and overpriced rainsheet with a fancy name like Rambo on it?

DA is a 6' in WB & his 6' Amigo comes up shorter than I'd like so doubt you'd get away with 5'9. What about trying a 6'3?

Go larger - I bought a 6ft 6 Amigo and had to take it back as it was so tight across the shoulders - swapped it for a masta which fits perfectly (didn't fit my bank balance so well though!)

I have Amigo and rambo rugs for my mob.
With Amigo you need to order a size larger than you think they need. One of mine takes 5ft 9" in Rambo but all her Amigo stuff has to be 6FT or its too tight/small.

Make sure you get the navy 1200 denier one. The pastel shades are only 600 denier and wont stand up to a heavy downpour.

QR - cybercheckout are ace. I got "this seasons" colour from them for 29.99 + 2.99 combined p&p. If you email Lisa directly at cybercheck out she's really helpful.

My wee TB mare is 6ft (drowned in WB 6ft3) and Amigo 6ft3 fits her perfectly, the 6ft was too small.

It only seems to be the l/w that come up small, I have fly sheets and m/w and they all fit perfectly in the "right" sizes

LOL - I always say that the Amigos fit normally and the Rambos come up big.

Just to confuse things, I'm sure I read somewhere that it is better to have the rug smaller than too big as it will rub more ?? Or did I dream that one

Thanks for all the advice, I call the cyber checkout people and they were ace (will be using that website agin, great prices!), I explained what rugs she took and the fact she's got not shoulders to speak of so they're sending out the 6ft to try but are happy to change it for the 6'3" if it's too tight. I like my rugs a bit snug so they don't catch the wind, she's very skinny and I'm afraid she might get blown away!

I really rate the horseware rugs including the Amigo's which are good value for money. They are not overally generous on size and would always suggest getting one size bigger then you usually use.

Update to all those that provided advice! The rug arrived today (how fast is that!) I got the 6ft and it fits but only cos she's a skinny Arab with 'lean' shoulders, to be honest if there was any more shoulder about her it would have been too tight. I think I got lucky, though if I go for another one I will go up a size for comfort, still £30 is not bad!
