Quick question - fly rugs?

To protect from sunburn do I need a rug that is UV reflecting or can it be one which says 'the silver colour will reflect the sunlight'. Not sure which to go for, but jig gets really bad sunburn on his white patches and need to get him a rug.

Silver reflects light & heat but depending on the material will absorb a % of radiation

Mine is photosensitive and I have used the Mark Todd one and the Premier Equine, they are both good
