Would it be completely irresponsible to leave my TB out overnight tonight. He has a good combo rug on, is in a sheltered field and has plenty to eat. He normally comes in at 6pm but I am sat here feeling completely poo (fluey bug), really thought Id be feeling well enough by now to drive to yard and have left it to late to ask for help so I either have to bite the bullet and go or leave him where he is. All his field mates are out so he wont be left alone, its just that he is a horse who likes routine and at 6 he will be waiting :( I know staying out wont kill him, Im more worried about the stress factor. Quick thoughts guys.

I'm pretty sure he will still be alive and well in the morning! :) One night will not hurt him and although he might stress initially, I'm sure he'll stick with his companions when he realises he isn't coming in. Better making sure you get well and a good nights rest so you are back to normal all the quicker.

I'd leave him out and get yourself a nice hot toddy!
