ok so Tb has got 2 splints on his offside front leg. he came in fri and sat night due to weather and in morning just that one leg is 'puffed' up the other 3 are normal. It goes down within about 1hr of being out.
Is it rubbish circulation in just that one leg being caused by the splints or is he just bizarre in only 1 leg filling up?
Also a sneaky 2nd question are stable wraps as good as bandaging to prevent swelling...cant be bothered to faff with bandage much prefer few straps velcro!! LAZY

Not sure why the leg is swelling, to be honest. My boy gets filled legs (both front legs) when stabled but stable wraps do nothing I'm afraid, good old stable bandages are needed :)

oh great!! I hate having to take them off rather than put them on!! He is rather pleased to go out in the mornings. Guess ill have to keep him out as long as possible to reduce the times i have to bandage!!

Magnetic wraps or boots can be a godsend with filled legs too, I'm only not using mine at the moment as horse has a 'new' injury so magnets are contraindicated. :)

ok thanks. was thinking of magnetic boots as they are also good at decreasing splints by increasing circulation, may invest in some as i cant be bothered to bandage for 6months of the year!!
