Quick Rider Turnout Question - Tie colour??

Just wondering if anyone can recommend the best colour tie to go with a greeny tweed jacket and cream shirt? I've seen a few people with red ties, which looks smart but is red only for children (I'm 21)?

What about berghundy or navy? Plain or spotty / patterned?

I would go with a burgandy patterned tie

Red or burgandy are both correct.

I wear a burgandy tie with small yellow/gold spots, with a green tweed with a navy and burgandy overcheck

Burgandy, green or navy all look really smart. I love the colours you've chosen with the tie you linked to, though I'd be inclined to go for something with a bigger pattern (it almost makes my eyes go funny!)

Go to a charity shop for your ties, can always pick up a bargain, sure to be cheaper than ebay too and goes to a worthy cause.
