Would you (on a super fit horse with more energy than ever needed), steadily trot/canter around a 60cm pairs hunter trial to lead your other baby horse whose completely green, then a couple of hours later go around the 90cm hunter trial at same venue?

Trying to justify the diesel money to get there :D

Thanks all! Assuming nothing goes wrong, it'll be so cool to do pairs with Bear and Bog. We had planned it for this time last year then things started to go wrong with Bear, so it's really lovely he's sound, looking amazing, starting to jump etc and albiet a year late we can finally do our pairs!

Sadly outside of winter their coat colours are very different, but can't have it all :D

Yes! Agreed you can easily do this. I went round a low pairs HT with my mare's foal (at about 5 yrs old!) and then did the 2ft 6" course afterwards.

Doing a pairs and then an individual used to be standard for everyone in my teenage years! It gave you the confidence to kick on a bit more on the second go round.

And I used to hack there and back to a lot of them.

I think he will just be trotting around the 65cm only, no rain forecast!

Thought entered both in the end
