Quick update on nightmare evening....

I've just had a text from YO (I sent her one to ask if she'd got there ok) and poor Dessie has a joint infection, bone chip and some tendon damage. They are going to operate in the morning - I'm not sure what for. I imagine it's to remove the bone chip??

I'm gutted for her - I really don't think I could feel much worse if I'd gone in the field and kicked him myself

Thanks for all your vibes for him - I hope the op goes ok in the morning. I'll post an update tomorrow to let you know how he is (providing YO hasn't murdered me before then

Pudpud - he's at Chine House. They are the vets that I use and I have every faith in them - very good vets. It would be just as the summer starts, wouldn't it? Rubbish....
