My usual ploy is to grab a hammer too, plus a can of 6" nails and approach the fence/gate/wall with purpose. Himself heaves a huge sigh, grabs everything and goes to fetch the right stuff then does it himself! Never fails

As for choosing horses, hmmmm, he says "Whatever, when am I picking it up?"
The only thing that interests him about the horses is how much Board they bring in and if it covers the expenses for my lot.

Harrumph! Read Rant thread.
STILL sat at home, horses miles away, truck in hospital, temper frayed beyond belief. It is a good job my windows have screens on them otherwise I would have thrown the phone out of it! Truck will take another two hours, re-schedule for Monday haulier says, oh crappity, crappity, crap!
Our own trailer is off the road too and these horses don't load, hence livestock trailer, rather than our small front facing one. So now I have to go grovel to this woman. Deep joy.
...and the sodding snow is settling, gah!

Re. OH's - from all accounts I obviously have got a duff one! Please can anyone advise me where I can go to exchange him for one who's less labour-intensifying!
