Im looking for some quiet clippers in order to get my horse more used to the whole clipping process before the winter. They will only be used for legs (she's welsh X so gets a fairly thick hair) so they don't need need to be real heavy duty clippers.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

I have just bought the Wolsely Skylark clippers from ingatestone sadelety for £45 and they are brilliant. I can clip my boy except his legs tried today and he just stood there (had a little shuffle) but more than happy. I have the liberty cordless for his whole body, my horse is an ISH but most people say hes a cob.

the other plus side of the worsley skylark they are cordless but you can clip from the mains too

I have some Liveryman Harmony clippers. They were only about £140 (came with battery - one without the adaptor are about £85). They are quiet have low vibration, but are powerful enough to give my hairy cob (including dirty leg) as full clip.
