As above really, Horse hates clippers and reluctant to sedate as she has been sedated so much over the last six months...so as it is mainly the noise she hates I am looking for advice on which make is the quietest??

You can desensitise her with trimmers, they seem to be a bit quieter than clippers. I've got liveryman harmony and they're pretty quiet and cordless so you can chase after the horse without the cord getting in the way.

Thank you for your recommendations. Can use trimmers on her and she is fine with them, its proper clippers she hates...mind you she has a scar on her neck where previous owner cut her with the blades...!!
A question about cordless clippers, are they as powerful as corded as she has coat like a woolly mammoth??? x

I clip cobs and natives with mine including feathers and hogging manes and they sometimes take a few more goes at it than heavy duty clippers would but they generally have no problems and i've never not been able to clip with them it just takes a bit longer.
