I'm doing some online shopping and have now whittled it down to either a Quiltmasta or JHL Mediumweight Stable rug... I'm stuck! Does anyone have either? Which would you recommend? I do love Mastas but am a bit put off with it not having leg straps or a fillet string. Please help!

JHL all the way!
They are reasonably deep actually, but a lovely fit no matter what shape your house

JHL's the only brand I would buy, love them !

erm, they are quite deep in fact i have 2, 1 underrug which is on my chunky hunter type and fits him well and 1 lw stable which is on my fine mare and again fits her well

I have to say the JHL does look like a nice rug. I'm now not sure whether I should get the medium or the lightweight... How cosy/thick is your lightweight, Lady R?

JHL lightweight are 150g - can't remember what the medium is sorry. I sell both JHL and Masta and can honestly say I've sold more JHL. I've got a clearance on at the mo so hopefully can get some more as they go like hotcakes.

i have both, although my quiltmasta has a neck attached and is LW swhereas my JHL is MW and no neck. I love my JHL, fits my IDxTBs perfectly, doesnt rub etc, whereas the quiltmasta moves a bit on my WB

I was told JHL are the same as Mark Todd but cheaper. I bought a JHL LW stable rug but havent used it yet. Fits well though and all Mark Todd rugs fit my mare who is fairly broad chested. I dont like Mastas. They dont fit my mare at all. They slip back a lot.
