Quite possibly numpty question...

Not numpty at all. In my understanding you want the whole micronised seed not the meal left after oil extraction. So I assume full fat = whole seed. The micronisation process stablilizes the nutrient content to reduce degradation.
 
So it is the same? One of my local shops can order anything in for me from a huge list of stuff which would be much cheaper than ordering online, but the only linseed products on the list are the lozenges or this full fat meal. The lady in the shop didn't know whether or not the two are the same so thought I'd better check first.
 
The lozenges are made up with extracted meal and molasses etc. I believe. Given that choice I'd go for the full fat meal. Charnwood call theirs full fat.
