Quobb Stables Southampton...

Not been but are they close to you? They are not far from me but I can pm you with alternatives. Haven't heard the greatest feedback....but then every stables will have some unhappy campers!

They seem to offer deals on Groupon quite a bit....not sure if that's a good thing or not!

Just a bit of hacking.....
 
Pinkmead, Quob and Crofton all offer groupon deals ocassionally. Might be worth a look.

Pinkmead hacking is none existent (round the farm), haven't got much experience of Quob, wouldn't go myself but as I say...they all get bad press occasionally so you might have a good experience, they have been running for a long time and must have regular happy clients.

Crofton always looked good, have some good recommendations but I haven't checked out the riding school bit.

Someone else I know uses Oasis, hacking is round the Manor farm country park.

Oasis hackin is minimised to walk and trot (rules of the country park apparently), no experience of Quob and only ever competed at pinkmead. Tanglewood would prob take you out for a couple of hours once you got to know them, they're a pretty relaxed bunch there (or used to be!)

For a really good hack though it's worth the extra drive into the new forest as everything else pales in comparison :)
