I was there competing as well, according to QHPC's website 240 horses went round so it was very well attended!

We were amazed at how many people there actually were! And we went round clear, was very happy as it was my first HT on my horse and I wasn't sure how it would go so was very pleased

Just a word of advice: never ever spit a fly out, you should think of it as an extra source of protein and anyway, can you imagine what anyone from the Quorn would have to say if they realised you had SPAT halfway round their Hunter Trial?? Would be like Tiger Woods spitting on the 18th green at St Andrews

I know! I despise spitting too, but the fly had to go! Imagine if I had swallowed it alive and it didn't die Have you seen the film The Fly? Doesn't bear thinking about
