Another sad event to happen in eventing :[

Ginny Howe's ride in this class, Cavort, was put down after breaking a shoulder in a fall at the HSBC Corners at fence 13.

I thought that it looked serious, RIP Cavort. This puts my elimination into perspective, I cant imagine how his connections must feel

A tragic loss of a really smart horse. Always looked an absolute picture, and with great presence everywhere he went. Im sure he will be sadly missed. My thoughts must go out to Ginny and her team. RIP Cavort

Ditto, an amazing horse who will be greatly missed!!

I was there, saw the whole accident, it was absolutely horrific. Ginny was screaming and shouting when he fell, and poor Cavort was just lieing there struggling.

In tears writing this- just been on phone to a completely heartbroken Ginny, passed on all the lovely things you have all said, it means a lot. He was an amazing brilliant horse and she rode him beautifully with skill and passion.

Such a tragic loss - Ginny works so hard and had a real connection with Larry - heartfelt condolences to Ginny and her family - particularly her Mum who doubles up as groom and driver.

Acting on behalf of Ginny, she thanks you all for your kind words, obviously the whole family is very distressed at this time and your thoughts and comments are unbelieveable, thank you.

Should anyone have any photos of Cavort (Larry) could you please forward them to me so that I can add them to the website jilly.foster@sungard.com, website; ginnyhowe-eventing.co.uk.

Thanks again, RIP Larry we all miss you so much. xx
