R.I.P. My wee minty

Thanks to everyone for all the lovely messages, they made me cry again but in a good way.
Thanks for the nice pms and the text messages too. It all has helped to make Kyle and I feel a lot better.
Kyle is coping, very sad looking and I know he is on the verge of tears most of the time.
It was so hard going to the yard this morning and not getting my usual welcome.

Ravenwood, I was straight with Kyle, in a gentle way, from the start. He totally agreed with the decision and understood it all. He is a really mature lad, he will just miss him terribly. I suppose I just need to let him grieve and be there for him when he needs me.x

Natalia, Mints had it on his penis, I caught it really early the last time and it was treated with the cryogenic surgical freezing technique. That was just less than 2 years ago.
I had to clean it quite regularly because of it all and the vet checked him Just in November and it was clear. It seemed to be growing quite quickly, the vet reckoned that it would have started to get painful within the next week or so as it had started growing in the way.
I hope your pony stays clear x

Alison - good to hear from you, we must catch up sometime, hope the girls and horses are well x

Again thanks everyone for your kind messages. I have also had some lovely tributes from the people who knew him. It all means a lot.
I miss my wee guy.

Really sorry to hear about Minty. I know he meant the world to you and Kyle - take pride in the loving home you both surrounded him with. You strived at all times to give him the best and I am sure Minty knew this.

One of the hardest aspects of horse ownership is knowing the ‘time’, one thing I can relate greatly with.

He was an adorable pony and I will always have fond memories of the first time I met him, he had jumped out of his paddock that day, was full of life and if a pony could smile he was wearing the biggest smile from ear to ear.

Sad to hear hes gone x
