After losing one of our horses last week to colic ,we sadly lost one of my mums dogs last night he had a seizure in the afternoon was taken to the vet but sadly passed away under sedation last night.

We are all in total shock as it was very unexpected he was a small dog but came to the stables every day and was in charge of all the bigger dogs he will be very much missed.

Its times like this that having animals really does break your heart.

Oh TF I am so sorry to hear about you losing your horse to colic, it really is evil, I still feel robbed that colic took my Seren last october.

And I am so sorry to hear about your little dog Pippin, what a terrible week for you. It is truly heartbreaking to lose our beloved animals, so sorry x

I'm so sorry to hear your news. :(

We lost our old Border Terrier exactly two years ago today, and I know just how you feel.

Perhaps the two of them are up there together, having a blast. ;)

RIP Pippin (and Tugg). Gone, but most definately not forgotten.

C xx

Good grief, what a dreadfully sad time you are having :(

I have a little Pippin dog too - I'll give him an extra hug tonight for yours. So sorry for your loss, I know just how much it hurts. x

Sorry to hear this. Animal losses are so hard to deal with, but I always remember this quote

'it is better to have loved and lost; than to have never loved at all'.

Losing them is so hard to deal with but think of all those good times. so sorry you are having a sad time, hugs to you.

Good night God bless Pippin.so sorry to read this after your poor horse as well, you really are having a tough time at the moment and my thoughts are with you and your family. When any of our animals die it is so very hard, but you must try and think of all those lovely times that you shared with them both, and gave them both such a happy life x

Thanks for all the lovely comments it was such a shock I guess we can console ourselves with the fact that it was quick and he did not start to go downhill.
He was very sprightly and well until the end he was 15,he had just been scrounging lunch off my dad shortly before, yes the dogs get lunch in our house human lunch that is and if they do not get it on time they start protesting espc him.

He was a cheeky little bugger.
