R&R Sale...anyone going?

Well I don't Adam and Eve it, normally I'd rather pull my own teeth out and stick blunt pins in my eyes than to venture up to R&R on the first Sale day but this year I've actually got some spare pennies to treat myself and have been preparing my myself for the big shop/rat race and I've only gone and booked the horse dentist at 9am that very same morning.

Shoot me now.

Looks like I'll be going on Sunday for the left over dreggs and slim pickings.

If he doesn't turn up for the appointment, I won't be a happy bunny and there will be once less EDT working in the Yorkshire area, so if he's your dentist, I'll apologise now for any actions that I may take. :D

Sorry, no you are not being dumb, it's me, I should of mentioned Yorkshire peeps in the title, it is an equestrian & country store called R&R Country (online as well), they have their annual sale usually end of January time.
 
Nah mate...not going this year. Off to Rideaway to trade in yet another saddle and then having my hair cut ....oh yes, time for the annual shearing:D

I did get some bargains last year though....however, I am attempting a frugal year ( which will start after the saddle swap and haircut , of course;))

I could do with a trading one of mine in actually, I don't think hubby will be willing to finance a 4th saddle quite yet :D
 
I went lastnight and spent £100 on stuff I needed they were setting up and getting ready for the sale, none of the stuff I got is going to be in the sale :mad:. Plus I'm just not brave or mad enough to venture there on 1st day of sale lol
 
I have stopped going to the R&R sales as they are rubbish. The first few were great with bargains to be had. Now very few real sale items and lots of brought in things which are still in three weeks later.

A couple of years ago I made a point of going early in the day as the headlines were for an item or two I wanted. What they did not mention was there was only one of each and the first person in the store got them.

However I have bagged some real bargains at Robinsons sales in Malton.

Yeah, last time I went, well last couple of occassions actually, I was in the shop for all of 5 minutes and I had to walk out and go home (or stuff my face next door at the chippy) I couldn't get to anything to look at anything, then if wanted something I took one look at the que and thought buggar that!

But this year I thought nope, I'm going to to do it, I'll be brave and take you all on! :D

then the dentist said ''Sat morn 9am do ya?''

yes...*big sigh* I suppose so :(
 
I must be crazy...im heading in on the sat...very dissapointed they aren't putting it online this year as i wud prefered that :( ahhh well :)

hoping to get a new browband, some short cheek peices, an exercise sheet and a new numnah :)
